A member of Greenspoon Marder’s Corporate Law Practice Group, Mr. Szydlowski advises clients on general corporate matters, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate governance and compliance with the federal securities laws. Mr. Szydlowski has represented various constituents, including public, private, domestic and international companies, venture capital, hedge and private equity funds, with transactions involving a range of industries.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Szydlowski was assistant general counsel to a Bermuda based, NYSE-listed reinsurance company, where he focused on compliance with U.S. securities laws, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, finance, ventures and provided legal support to various business and shared services units.
Mr. Szydlowski began his career in the New York office of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP.
A graduate of the University of Maine (B.S., Business Administration, 1992), Mr. Szydlowski earned his law degree at St. John’s University School of Law (J.D., 2000).
