A Message from Our Chief Diversity Officer

As a leading, full-service law firm in a rapidly growing and diverse state, it is our aim to reflect the communities in which we live and work. This is not only for diversity’s sake, but because it promotes a greater understanding of people and cultures which differ from our own, thereby enhancing our ability to deliver extraordinary service to our clients.

We want you to be comfortable with us, not only because we are good at what we do, but because we are sensitive to the unique needs and cultural differences of the individuals, organizations and communities we serve.

Just as we value you, we value our employees and are committed to fair treatment, recognition of individuality, encouragement to achieve and reward for accomplishment. In turn, since joining Greenspoon Marder as a shareholder and assuming the responsibility of Chief Diversity Officer, I have experienced the enthusiasm and commitment that the firm has for diversity in the workplace and community. In fact, I’m proud to say that we have formalized our efforts through the creation and implementation of the Greenspoon Marder Diversity Initiative, which is maintained by a committee of shareholders and executive managers.

In addition, we also host a scholarship and summer law clerk internship program that benefits women and minority law students and helps ensure that Greenspoon Marder recruits a diverse group of attorneys, comprised of the best and brightest legal minds that Florida’s law schools have to offer.
